In Radiant Future, you take on the role of an organisation responsible for managing radioactive waste safely. Together, you take strategic decisions, weigh up risks and work towards the final and safe disposal of that waste.
The game shows just how complex that task is in reality – it's not only a scientific issue, but also a challenge for society. Do you have the scientific knowledge, the strategic insight, the razor-sharp memory or the power of persuasion you need in order to make the difference? In Radiant Future, all of these talents will be put to good use.

Players
The game was developed for players aged 16 or over and can be played by two to four people.

The game is available in three languages: English, Dutch and French.
Hiring the game
When hiring the board game from us, you have two options:
- You can go to Tabloo and collect the game and bring it back there (during standard opening hours).
- You can have the game sent out to you via a parcel service. If you do that, you will receive a link specifying the delivery date. A return slip will also be included in the box so that you can send the parcel back to Tabloo afterwards. Each box containing the game should preferably be returned in the original packaging. If that is not possible, make sure you use packaging of the same quality so that the game is not damaged. The costs of sending (€20.00) the game will be payable by you.
When it is returned, the game will be checked, based on the checklist specifying the components of the game.

Frequently asked questions
Who can hire the game?
Radiant Future is available to everyone – schools, youth organisations, educational organisations, authorities, associations and families.
How long in advance must I book?
Your booking request must be submitted at least 10 days and no more than twelve months in advance. Bookings will be processed in chronological order.
How long can I hire the game for?
The standard hiring period is one week. The precise dates will be stated on the hire form. That period can only be extended after consulting Tabloo.
How can I collect or receive the game?
You can collect the game from Tabloo during opening hours, or you can have it sent out to you via a parcel service. If it is sent out to you, you will receive a link containing the date of delivery.
How do I send the game back?
You can bring it back to Tabloo during opening hours, or you can send it back using the return slip you will find inside the parcel. If possible, please send it back in its original packaging, or make sure you use packaging of the same quality.
Tips
Will you be playing the game with younger players?
No problem! In that case, it may be helpful to miss out the ‘impact cards’ (the debating element of the game) and focus on the individual challenge of transferring your own waste to the deep disposal site as quickly and as safely as possible.
The questions in the game may be difficult for younger players (and also for players who are not so young, but have little background knowledge). That is why watching the introductory video is definitely recommended. A number of answers to the questions can already be found in the video.
